Performance Insights
The Garmin AIRMAR M265LH combines low and high CHIRP frequencies to provide exceptional sonar performance across a wide range of fishing conditions. The low-frequency CHIRP delivers outstanding depth penetration for offshore environments, while the high-frequency CHIRP produces sharp images that clearly distinguish fish, bait schools, and underwater structures.
Its narrow beam design provides excellent target separation, allowing anglers to identify individual fish with greater confidence. The in-hull installation protects the transducer from external impacts while maintaining the boat's hydrodynamic performance, making it an ideal solution for fiberglass vessels used in offshore and coastal waters.
Usage Instructions
Install the M265LH according to the supplied Garmin and AIRMAR installation instructions. The transducer is designed for in-hull installation on compatible fiberglass boats with hull deadrise angles between 0° and 30°.
Connect the transducer to a compatible Garmin sonar system and configure the sonar settings based on your fishing conditions. Periodically inspect the installation to ensure optimal performance.
Note: This transducer is not recommended for cored-hull vessels. Always follow the installation instructions carefully to avoid damage to your boat.
