Usage Instructions

Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with a dry cloth before installation. Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield or dashboard, then activate the locking lever to create a secure seal. Rotate the mount ball joint to your desired angle, ensuring the camera frame aligns with your intended shot composition. Verify the camera is level and centered within the frame before starting your journey. To remove, simply flip the locking lever and gently pull the suction cup away from the surface.

Design & Material

The Garmin Auto Dash Suction Mount combines functional engineering with a minimalist profile designed to remain inconspicuous when mounted. The construction prioritizes durability without adding bulk, making it equally suited for temporary adventure filming or dedicated vehicle installation.

  • ABS plastic housing engineered to resist vibration fatigue and environmental stress common in automotive applications
  • Heavy-duty suction cup with reinforced edges providing consistent sealing pressure across varying windshield textures and curvatures
  • Ball joint articulation system enabling full 360-degree rotation and multiple vertical angle positions for flexible framing
  • Sleek black finish that blends with most vehicle interiors and camera color schemes
  • Compact footprint measuring significantly smaller than competing rigs, minimizing driver sightline obstruction
  • Single-lever locking mechanism designed for operation with one hand, critical during quick setup transitions between filming locations

Final Verdict

If you film automotive content, travel vlogs, or action sequences from inside or outside a vehicle, this mount eliminates the compromises of improvised solutions. The 95% secure hold, adjustable framing, and tool-free installation make it the practical choice for serious adventure documentation.
